Edge Cord Displacement Testing
rEscan can measure the lateral thickness of the cover rubber adjacent
to the left and right edge cord along the entire length of a belt.
This
is particularly useful with the installation of new belting, as in some cases
rolls of belting have been provided with the cords significantly displaced
leading to tracking and edge damage issues – especially at the ends of rolls.
